Here’s some format suggestions for any digital imagery you want to send:

Email
Send files (Under 10mb file size) with contact information, instructions, and digital attachments to: info@zunisigns.com.

File Conventions We Recommend
We use Adobe CC for design work.  If you have a design file you would like us to use it should be:

  • AI or EPS or PDF with fonts outlined.
  • PDF or PS files should be flattened.
  • Rasterized/Bitmapped files at least 150 dpi at 100% scale.
  • Files over 10mb should be compressed.

Fonts
Convert fonts to outlines when possible. By converting fonts to outlines in programs like Illustrator, you will avoid having to send the fonts with your files. When converting to outlines, the text becomes a vector shape and will look no different than its original state

Color
Color & Grayscale images:  at least 150 dpi and 300 dpi if possible at “100%”.  When you send a high resolution image at “100% scale”, it will not loose image quality when we use it to print.

Color Matching
If you want us to “match” colors, please provide files with a Pantone match.  One note about “color match”; we will get it very very close, but there is really no such thing.

“Vicki and Ed at Zuni Signs have been fantastic and friendly partners in promoting and growing Evergreen Nature Center with fantastic outdoor and indoor signs. On each project, they’ve gone above and beyond to help with design decisions and quick turn around, and eagerly shared their expertise in materials and installation as well.”
