Zuni Signs

For many decades the billboard in Idaho Springs has been a landmark for travelers as they trek across Interstate 70. It commemorates the rich history of the past and draws travelers in to enjoy the historic district and other attractions. In 2011, the City of Idaho Springs contracted with Zuni to refurbish the billboard and bring it to life again with modern technology. The face is 30 feet long by 12 feet tall and stands about 30 feet tall. After demolition, Zuni rebuilt the existing frame and attached new 4×8 panels with laminated digital graphics using vivid colors and historic characters to recreate the monument for future travelers.
