Zuni Signs

There’s nothing like being able to bring an old weathered 20-plus year old sign to life again. In early 2013, a Colorado favorite, Beau Jo’s Pizza, asked Zuni Sign Company to refurbish the carved redwood sign located at their original location in Idaho Springs. Challenges of this project included working with the structural components of a 100-plus year old building, a wood sign showing significant deterioration, getting the sign down safely and then returning it to a new location directly over the main entry for the restaurant. But, as you can see, the sign looks great with new paint and gold leaf finish all mounted to a modern rust-proof aluminum cabinet.
