Addenbrooke Park Entry Monument
Location: Lakewood, Colorado
Date of Completion: July, 2003
Zuni Signs was selected by the City of Lakewood’s Urban Parks Division to design, fabricate and install two entry monuments for the historic 110 acre park. Stone monuments were selected as the material to integrate architectural features from the park’s 100 year old history with the need for “maintenance free” signage. The 8 ton flagstone slab for the largest of the monuments is 15 feet long, 6 feet tall and 12 inches thick and came from a quarry near Masonville Colorado. The copy is cut from 1 inch thick steel with a triple powder coat finish. The logos are an exterior fused polycarbonate product.
